Language - This article is about the drummer from rock band Avenged Sevenfold. The article is coming from the leads singer Matthew Sanders (M Shadows) on how the death of his bandmate affected him and his band. The masthead is in a large font which stands out against the white background. The writing throughout the article is also in a black font which also stands out against the background. The audience that will be reading this magazine is ages 15-35. This is because Kerrang! is known as the biggest UK gig guide and over 14's can only goto gig's that are featured in this magazine. This is because some of the songs have explicit language in which may not be suitable for under 14's. The age range of 15-35 is a good age range because they will be able to afford the £2 to buy the magazine on a weekly basis.
Representation - The representation for this contents page is to give the readers all the information they need. They will also keep putting in what people love to read about so they buy it week in week out.
