Language - The language on this is pretty much the same as the first contents page. The main image at the top is the band 'Escape The Fate' and the image represents the article that is going to be based on this band. The image has a yellow banner which shows what band it is and it also has the number '8' which shows that the article about 'Escape The Fate' is on page eight. There is also other images that are on the contents page which represents something in the magazine. There is an image with a band on it and it also has a yellow banner on it which makes the writing stand out. In the banner it says 'Posters'. This is showing that in the issue of Kerrang! you can get posters and the image is one of the posters that you will get. All of the subheading are in a bold yellow font which has a black background behind it. This makes the subheadings stand out against the background. There is a specific theme throughout the front cover which shows that all of the major headlines are in a yellow font with a black banner behind it and the rest of the writing is in a black font.
Ideology - The theme of this contents page is to provide the audience with what is going to happen in this issue of Kerrang! magazine. It also shows what articles are in this magazine and what bands/singers are featured. The contents page will also advertise any special offers and will tell you where to find them. The contents page is there to show people where the specific articles are instead of them just going threw the full magazine.
Institution- With this magazine been available all over they will distribute it in supermarkets or any shop that sell magazines. This is because people all over like rock music and this gives you alot of information on rock music/bands so it needs to be in a shop where everyone will have access to it.
Audience - The audience for this specific magazine is definitely people who love rock music. This is shown by the bands that are featured throughout the magazine. The audience that will be reading this magazine is ages 15-35. This is because Kerrang! is known as the biggest UK gig guide and over 14's can only goto gig's that are featured in this magazine. This is because some of the songs have explicit language in which may not be suitable for under 14's. The age range of 15-35 is a good age range because they will be able to afford the £2 to buy the magazine on a weekly basis.
Representation - The representation for this contents page is to give the readers all the information they need. They will also keep putting in what people love to read about so they buy it week in week out.
